New Beauty Buy: Benefit’s ‘They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara’

Hello lovelies!

Nothing better than starting off a new week with a new beauty product! I know that everyone in the world seems to have tried this mascara but even after reading tons of fabulous reviews on this product I never knew if it was still worth the hype especially since I was very happy with my most recent mascara obsession which was the Voluminous Million Lashes in Carbon Black. However, once my most recent tube ran out I figured it was time to see what all the fuss was about and purchased this little beauty:

The first thing that I really loved was the brush. Its not too big, not too small and the perfect shape to get all of your lashes including the little baby ones in the inner corners of your eyes. Along with this mascara brush being lengthening I also found it to be very easy to buildΒ in terms of volume as well which is great since there’s nothing better than long and voluminous lashes. This mascara really does live up to it’s cheeky name as it does make your lashes look so fully and thick that they could possibly be falsies if you didn’t know the difference. The brush also provided an even distribution of product to the lashes which was amazing and made them look very fanned out without looking spidery and thin.

I also really loved the colour of the mascara. If you know me at all, the blacker a mascara, the more I will love it and this black was absolutely pitch black (or “Jet Black” as it says on the packaging) which was perfect. The woman who handled my transaction told me that they currently only sell this mascara in black as of now but that new colours will be introduced shortly which was wonderful for girls who like options for their mascara colours.

Overall this mascara was definitely worth the hype. Between the perfectly shaped brush which provided all that was promised by this mascara and the incredible shade of black, I really found no cons with this purchase and (as it sounds like most other makeup lovers would) would 100% recommend this to any one looking for super long lashes and are also full of volume. I think it is safe to say that I have found my new favourite mascara πŸ™‚

  1. Great review! I have a sample of this that I can’t wait to try (I keep accumulating mascaras and testing them, so I feel obligated to continue using them since they have such a short lifespan after your first use). Hope you have a chance to check out my blog as well!

  3. Love this post! I LOVE Benefit mascaras. I’m currently using the Benefit Roller Lash and considering I’m not a massive fan of plastic applicators I have been very impressed it it ☺️

      1. You really should try it when you get chance. I have had a few people ask what mascara I use whilst at work. I’ve been meaning to do a review on it but just have so many other things that I’ve been loving lately! I will get round to it eventually ☺️
