Sorry I’ve been so MIA but work has been INSANE and I was also in JAPAN for a little bit this past month!
Guys – it was incredible. The most perfect trip ever. I am still so sad to be back home and I’m missing it every single day. I easily could have stayed there for months. We spent time in both Tokyo and Kyoto and it was an absolute dream. ❤
Below are some pics from my Instagramthat I thought I would share with you all! 😀
Oh, Rachel, this is awesome!! Seems like you had the best time there! You were there in winter but it didn’t seem that cold from your photos. It’s absolutely gorgeous in the spring. The sun was pretty strong and drier than where I live in Taiwan. So it was ideal. I didn’t want to leave. Have you ever been to Taiwan?
Awh thank you so much! We had the most amazing time! It was actually the perfect weather- not too warm or too cold. I need to go back ASAP ❤️ And no I have never been! It looks absolutely gorgeous though and has been on my travel bucket list for awhile 😀
It’s very different but also excitingly Asian like Japan. Let me know if you decide to come out this way. Looking forward to following your blog posts more. 🙂
Whoa I didn’t hike that much in Fushimi Inari shrine 😦 I found a trail toward somekind of castle outside the shrine area but after halway through (30 minutes) we decided that we needed to move on to the next destination. The view from above!! God! I need to visit the shrine again someday.
I also went to the Ghibli Museum and I was really happy too!!!!
Rachel, loved your pics. Isn’t Japan the most wonderful place. I told my wife–whenever she wants to move back to Japan…I’m ready! I think I could spend a lifetime in Tokyo alone and still not see everything.
Oh, and thank you so much for your interest in my blog. Your blog is really terrific so I look forward to your posts! Nice to meet you!
Omg! Japan is at the top of my list for travel! And you went to some spots I’d like to go too as well; ghibli museum, the shrine with 10,000 gates and the bamboo forest! 😀
