Generation Beauty by Ipsy – #GenBeauty Toronto!

This past weekend I was lucky enough to attend #GenBeauty Toronto which is an amazing event hosted by Ipsy for beauty lovers, content creators, brands and industry insiders to connect, network and inspire each other for a whole weekend of fun. Major beauty brands such as NYX, MAC, Smashbox, Benefit and Covergirl and so many more participate by hosting booths where you can go and get your makeup or hair done, test out new products, learn about the brand and even walk away with gorgeous samples.

On top of that, incredible beauty content creators such as Michelle Phan, Karen Yeung, Cydnee Black, Nikita Dragun, Patrick Starr and so many others also attended to host the event as well as participate in meet and greets, media interviews and panel discussions.

I am beyond grateful that I was able to receive a Beauty Content Creator pass as this allowed me exclusive access to all of the brands that participated this weekend. I spent the whole day walking around with Michelle Phan and Karen Yeung who were so generous, kind and wonderful to me and who made this experience so much fun.

It was such an eye opening experience to spend a day in their world and it was such an honour. I am so grateful and lucky to have had this experience and to have seen how hard these women work between interviews, meeting their fans and also just exploring the event like normal, everyday beauty lovers such as myself.

At the end of the day I was floating on cloud nine and didn’t think the day could get any better until I received an amazing bag of so many incredible products for me to take home. I was stunned and so excited. And I can’t wait to share them with you guys! 😀

For the next few weeks, I will be reviewing all of the products I got in this GIANT bag so that you can see what I got and possibly be exposed to some new brands as I know that some of these brands are new to me as well. Stay tuned! 😀 ❤
