My Favourite Contour Stick: Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour

First of all, I love that this product is called a Chubby Stick because it sounds so cute and makes me giggle every time 😀

Secondly, I LOVE this product. I grabbed it in a pinch two years ago right before I was scheduled to attend a wedding and I have been hooked ever since.

The Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour is super creamy and buttery so it glides onto your skin seamlessly and is therefore really easy to blend. I love contour sticks like this one because it reminds me of a giant crayon which makes it impossible to mess up. This one in particular is a favourite of mine because it has a beautiful, dewy finish and never makes your skin look too matte or powdery.

I tend to use this product as bronzer / contour because the colour is quite warm as you can see in the pictures below. I like to draw it in the hollows of my cheeks, along my forehead, down along my temples and also along my jaw line. I then blend it with my Beauty Blender and use my Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer over the same areas to further enhance the colour and contour before finishing off my look with some blush and highlighter.

When I first purchased this product, I wasn’t really sure what the colour would be like but it somehow turned out to be perfect for my skin tone. I like that it is not too orange and not too brown which is amazing since I am quite pale. It always gives my face the perfect amount of warmth and colour that looks super natural yet it is dark enough that my face looks beautifully contoured and chiseled.

It also lasts forever because it is very pigmented so you don’t need very much to create a perfect contour. I also love that it is really convienent for travel since you don’t have to worry about anything spilling or leaking. Another huge bonus –  it is oil free and paraben free.

It is unfortunate that it only comes in this one shade as I am not sure how it would work on a variety of skin tones but if you are on the pale side like me then I highly recommend checking it out 😀

What are your favourite contouring sticks? Has anyone tried the KKW Beauty ones? ❤
