Glossier Review: 9 PRODUCTS!

If you have followed my blog for awhile, (or just scrolled down six posts), you will know that I LOVE Glossier and have been DYING to try their products. My boyfriend was beyond amazing and surprised me by ordering all of the below products for me the first day Glossier announced they were shipping to Canada :’)

….. Yes, I realize this was back in July but, to tbh, as a ‘blogger’ / someone who has a blog, I always struggle with trying not to use products because I want them to be in perfect condition for my blog photos but then I get frustrated because I hate waiting lol. SO, I have decided that I will use products as I receive them and that my blog photos will just reflect this because, after all, this is how it really went down and I really want this blog to be authentic and not a super airbrushed version of my life.

Soothing Face Mist

I have used rosewater in my skincare routine forever and this mist contains rosewater as well as aloe for the ultimate soothing experience. It smells amazing and really helps decrease any redness I might be experiencing on my face before I apply my moisturizer. This mist is also an amazing pick-me-up during the day as it diffuses super lightly and softly making it feel like the tiniest rose petals are raining down on me and making my makeup smile again.

Milky Jelly Cleanser

This cleaners is so good guys and really, the name says it all. Milky, jelly, creamy goodness that is perfect for my skin as we move into colder months. This cleanser locks in all of the moisture of my skin leaving it feeling plump, hydrated and sooooo smooth. I actually look forward to mornings now because I am so excited to use this cleanser.

Balm Dotcom in Birthday

THIS SMELLS INCREDIBLE. Like, no joke. Do you guys remember the old Lip Smacker in French Vanilla? That is exactly what this smells like and it takes me BACK. I love the smell so much and the texture and consistency of this balm is amazing. The only issue I have with this sparkly guy, (love the packaging so much btw – makes me so happy to look at 😀 😀 😀 ), is that I don’t find the applicator all that great. I find it really difficult to apply the balm using the actual applicator because the it is not created to fit the shape of your lips. However, this is a small price to pay for the cute little shimmer it brings combined with the hydration it delivers on the regular.

Haloscope in Moonstone

This highlighter is the bombdotcom (…. should have used that for the above lol). But for real, it is so gorgeous. It has easily become my go to highlighter every day as it delivers a lit-from-within glow that is subtle yet noticeable in the best way possible. It makes your skin look so dewy and naturally healthy without ever looking oily. I honestly think it is so cool how it contains actual crystal extracts since what’s more badass than applying that to your face on a daily basis?

Super Pure

This serum really intrigued me as I have never actually used a serum that was targeted to help redness and blemishes as I tend to gravitate to serums that will help my skin glow or look more alive. Therefore, I was really excited when I woke up the night after applying this to find my skin looking AMAZING. Any random blemishes I had looked significantly less angry and irritated and my skin overall looked way more calm and happy. I have been using it every other night, while rotating with the Super Glow (keep reading for more info 😉 ), and can see my blemishes have decreased significantly.

Cloud Paint in Haze

Just the name ‘Cloud Paint’ alone makes me feel so ethereal and feminine so I knew I would love this blush. It literally is foolproof to apply or mess up and it makes your cheeks look so alive and pretty. I love that it is sheer yet really easy to build should you want more of an intense colour. I am a huge fan of gel-cream blushes since they look more natural and Cloud Paint looks so insanely natural that I have gotten so many compliments on how pretty my skin looks since I have started wearing it. I seriously need it in every colour.

Priming Moisturizer Rich

I have only used this moisturizer once so far as my skin as actually been quite hydrated lately, thanks to the above and below products ❤ , BUT I really loved this moisturizer. It is very rich and luxurious and a product I know I will just want to dunk my whole face into once winter hits. I can easily see myself using this every day once my dry skin days start and I have a feeling it will replace my Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask as my daily rich moisturizer especially since my makeup applied flawlessly over it.

Moisturizing Moon Mask

There is nothing I love more than a good face mask and this beauty is truly wonderful. I leave it on for hours sometimes because I just love knowing my skin is soaking up all of the moisture it needs. This mask is thick but not too thick and so buttery which is perfect for my skin after a long week. It feels super luxurious both as you are applying it and while wearing it. A true pampering MVP.

Super Glow

Anything that has the word ‘glow’ in it, I’m down for. This serum has a very watery consistency, that I personally really like, and absorbs like a dream. I always find my skin looks super smooth and even the morning after I use this serum. Packed with vitamin C and magnesium, it always makes me look like I have slept way more than I have which I desperately need AND it has totally replaced my Ole Henriksen Truth Serum as my go-to vitamin C serum because it’s just that good.
