Vintage shopping is my absolute favourite kind of shopping. I love the hunt of finding a unique, amazing piece that no one else will have that will also have a story and a history behind it. Lucky for me, Toronto is filled with so many incredibly vintage stores that I frequent quite (read: very) often. Below are my favourites:
My number one favourite vintage store in Toronto. I know that every time I walk in that I will leave with a piece I absolutely love. They have everything from cool sweatshirts and athleisure pieces to gorgeous dresses and blouses. I particularly love their jean and pant selection and have purchased several pairs from them that I am obsessed with.
Found in the Parkdale neighbourhood of Toronto, this vintage store is a huge treasure chest of everything and anything. From their stunning jacket selection to endless amount of vintage t-shirts and sunglasses, I always make sure I stop here when I’m in the area. They also have lots of furniture and home design pieces if clothing isn’t what you’re on the hunt for.
This little gem is a recent discovery of mine where I scored a Nike windbreaker, a Holt Renfrew shearling coat, Isabel Marant x H&M jeans, and high waisted black trousers for insanely good prices. Nestled in Leslieville, Common Sort is always packed with people owing to the fact that their selection is top notch. Just this past weekend alone I found Yohji Yamamoto pants for under $200. I mean … ❤ ❤ ❤

While on the more pricey side, I Miss You Vintage is THE spot for high end vintage designer pieces. They carry everything from Chanel to Acne including stunning bags and accessories. I could spend hours in here just browsing all of their magnificent pieces purely because their collection is so gorgeous. I Miss You Vintage is my secret weapon for when I need a piece for a formal event as I know I’ll find something unique in perfect condition.
Bursting with beautiful prints, fabrics and colours this mother-daughter run store is a dream for those looking for the perfect t-shirt, blouse or dress that you’ll never find anywhere else. On top of that, they also have a wonderful selection of bags, hats and jewelry at an amazing price point. I actually found a gorgeous YSL blouse here last year that I didn’t purchase because I didn’t really need it but I find myself regretting it every single day. 😦
Do you like vintage shopping? What amazing stores can you find in your city? 😀
